For HR leaders and managers

Understand what your team needs from you

The Asporea Team Dynamics Assessment shows each person’s priorities across Status, Certainty, Autonomy, Relatedness and Fairness. Managers see three things: where the team agrees, where people differ, what to address first.

  • 24 questions
  • Five to seven minutes
  • Three levels of reporting

Manager guidance

See where the manager needs to adapt

The team map shows what each person values. Managers can see who needs clearer direction, more choice or greater involvement in decisions.

The manager report explains what the results mean. It recommends specific changes to how the manager communicates, delegates, makes decisions.

HR can coach the manager using evidence from their own team.

Team results

See what the team needs from the manager

01

What does the team value?

The report identifies the team’s strongest shared priority. This is the common ground the manager can build on.

02

Where do people differ?

The report identifies the widest spread between people. This is where the manager needs to adapt.

03

What needs attention first?

The report compares team priorities with current experience. The largest gap becomes the first issue to address.

04

What should the manager do under pressure?

The briefing explains the team’s likely reactions. It gives the manager the first response to make.

How it works

  4. Release the reports.Participants receive personal reports. Managers receive the team report. Leaders receive the high-level report.
  5. Discuss the results. The manager uses the briefing to prepare the team discussion.

Why it matters

Managers lead better when they understand what their people need

Data handling

Responses stay private. Records are deleted after 30 days.

Managers see profiles and team results. Individual questionnaire answers remain private.

Response data is encrypted. Each assessment uses a separate encryption key. Personal links and codes are protected.

Everyone is prompted to download their reports. Online assessment records are removed 30 days after release. The encryption key is removed at the same time.

Leadership reporting starts at five responses. Smaller groups stay within the named manager report.

The SCARF framework

Know what helps each person feel valued, informed, trusted, connected and fairly treated

Status: recognition, contribution, standing. Certainty: clarity, predictability. Autonomy: choice, control. Relatedness: trust, belonging. Fairness: consistency in decision-making.

Asporea designed every part of this assessment: workplace questions, scoring, interpretation, reports. It uses the five domains described in David Rock’s SCARF® model.
