That’s what this workshop is designed to do.
We will spend a full day getting ‘hands-on’ with AI and examining how it can be useful in work you already do.
What you'll get from the day
This is a practical workshop, where you will use AI throughout the day. You’ll experience demonstrations, guided activities as well as plenty of time to try things for yourself.
Learn how to get more useful results, and discover where AI can save you time.
You’ll uncover how to improve the work AI produces and how to make better decisions about when and how to use AI.
We will introduce AI capabilities you may not have discovered yet, and give you the chance to put them to work.
By the end of the day, you’ll be able to:
- Get more consistent results from AI
- Recognise where AI can save you time in your own work
- Discover ways to use AI across a broader range of everyday business activities
- Improve AI-generated work so it sounds and feels right
- Work more confidently with your own information

This is a hands-on workshop.
You’ll work alongside your facilitator, trying different approaches, comparing results, asking questions and dicovering what happens when AI gets things right and when it gets things spectacularly wrong.
You’ll spend time experimenting rather than trying to remember steps from a demonstration.
You won’t need to memorise complicated formulas for chatting with AI.
You’ll learn how to work with AI so you can continue exploring and solving problems yourself.

About your facilitator
I’m James Williams, a change manager and the founder of Asporea.
I have spent more than 20 years working with organisations through technology and business change, including major digital transformation programs across government, financial services and professional services.
A large part of that work has been helping people understand new systems, build confidence and actually change the way they work.
More recently, I have been working with teams using AI in practical ways, including supporting change practitioners to improve their work and helping businesses explore where AI can genuinely save time.
These experiences shape the design of this workshop.
I am not interested in AI hype or clever demonstrations that fall apart the moment you try them yourself. I am interested in helping people use the tools properly, on real work, and understand where their own judgement still matters.
My aim is that you leave the workshop having done something useful with AI and feeling confident enough to keep using it the next day.
